Texture, sharp, jagged, rough, coarse terrain. A pale muted lichen-like shade covers the majority. Crackling beneath the surface is a deeper shade of green and black. A hint of lime nearly spot-on in the center. Below is a block of black sculpted paint that sits at the base of the painting. The top right corner holds a sphere of pale pink spray paint, glistening like a wet Sun.

We all have secret parts of ourselves; we keep tucked away from the world. We all have our reasons; we all have our freedom to stay inside our cages. Seasons come, seasons go, still, the secrets buried below the surface. Fertilizing the soil, what becomes are the blossoms of the following season. The flowers wilt and dry as the late Summer sun burns hot; their petals, like skin over bone, dries fast, then turns back to stone.
